The complete kit to reseal your Mares Smart dive computer: a fresh CR2430 battery, a genuine replacement O-ring and silicone grease — everything to keep it watertight to depth.
How to Change the Mares Smart Battery
1. Unscrew the battery hatch on the back of the computer with a coin.
2. Remove the old CR2430 and the old O-ring.
3. Fit the new O-ring with a thin film of grease, drop in the fresh CR2430 (+ side up) and screw the hatch back until snug.

How long does the Mares Smart battery last?
Around 1.5–2 years of typical recreational use. A dim display or low-battery symbol means it is time to replace.
Do I need to change the O-ring too?
Yes — always fit the new O-ring (included) with grease so the battery hatch stays waterproof. A flattened old O-ring risks a flood.
