Find the battery kit for your dive computer

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know what battery my dive computer uses?

Select your brand and model above — the finder covers Suunto, Aqualung, Mares, Oceanic, Cressi, Aeris, Scubapro/Uwatec, Shearwater and Subgear. Most dive computers use a CR2450 or CR2430 lithium coin cell, but some models (transmitters, Suunto Tank POD) use special cells like Saft LS14250 or CR2 — the finder tells you exactly which one and links straight to the matching kit.

What's the difference between CR2450 and CR2430 batteries?

Both are 3V lithium coin cells with the same 24.5mm diameter, but different thickness — CR2450 is 5.0mm, CR2430 is 3.0mm. They are not interchangeable: the wrong one won't seat properly in the battery compartment and can compromise the o-ring seal. Always match the exact type for your model.

Can I change my dive computer battery myself?

Yes, with the right kit and a bit of care. Always replace the o-ring at the same time (never reuse the old one), use silicone grease — never petroleum-based — and avoid over-tightening the battery cover. If in doubt, or if your computer is still under warranty, a professional service is the safer route; a bad seal risks flooding the unit.

Does a battery kit include the o-ring?

Yes — every kit from ProDive Shop includes the correct battery, a matching o-ring and silicone grease, so you have everything needed for a proper, sealed replacement in one order.
